Yeah with conversation, you are practising how to pick up on things that they are saying which stand out to you, and to ask questions about that.

Not reherasing lines. The better conversationalist yu can be, the better things will be in general.

Nowadays when I'm talking, there's almost always something for me to ask about and become interested in, the more she says, even to the point where I have about 3 different threads at a different time, based on things she says next, and I have to pick one to go with. It's always being curious about what things are like, or how something eventuated. Eg. "It's a UK band I'm into" I instantly sensed - somehow with her choice of words, possibly even her body languge, that it was "obscure", so I thought to ask how she came across it, and that got into a conversation on how, yes the band is not popular here and she actively searches online for things in the UK.

I saw a post, which was posted(I BELIEVE) by chief. He put forwards the idea of setting a list of qualities you look for in a girl. Make it ten long, and then figure out a way to get onto each topic.

Its a good way to keep the flow of the conversation AND screen her for compatability. I believe it is really good for guys who find it difficult thinking of new conversation topics. If you spend about 2 minutes on each point, you have yourself a twenty minute convo right there- more than enough to get a number or even a K-close or instant date.
