How long to wait for getting an ex back?

I was with a great girl for a little bit and really started getting feelings for her when she left.
I see her every other day at school and we make small chat so there are not any any hard feelings between us, but she hasn't been going out of her way to see me really. Pretty normal stuff I guess.

We broke up a few days ago but she hasn't left my mind. How long of a wait is good until I start picking up where we left off?

Well, how did you break up, why did you break up?
I take it that she broke it off?
Was it over something small, or was it festering for the whole relationship?
How long were you together?

Depending on how/why you broke up, its never a good idea to get back with an ex.
Its easier to start new, then to restart an old relationship with its old problems.

We were together for a grand total of 4 days (Amazing how one can conjure up feelings in such a short time). Honestly Im embarrassed about how short it was, but shit happens.

Basically it ended because she lost the attraction I had gained during our short relationship. Which is my fault completely and I know that now. When we got together I turned into a wuss and gave up any challenge I had (as David DeAngelo would put it).

So in short, I lost her interest. : I
