Can dressing up nice boost confidence? Can being called acomedian by a girl increase confidence?

I am 16, and have been suffering from great aa, but recently I started aproaching alot of women, and they find me really funny, after I start talking to a girl I have the most amazing confidence a player can hope for, but when it comes to actually aproaching the women I find this huge hesitation, is there away I can get rid of my hesitation of aproaching so I am able to reduce it to a minimum ?

Im 17 and before i started working at my bowling alley this summer i couldnt even hold i contact. Man my game is stupendous, but ive still got a L O N G way to go to get where i wanna be. I didnt have a choice of talking to people or not; i met like 50 new people a day. Ill admit they were usually older but there was an occasional HB around my age and she was swept off her feet when she rolled into my domain

I had the same exact problem as you. When I was introduced to people through friends, it was comfortable and they nearly always loved me and I got/get the "omg you should be a comedian" line almost every weekend.

The problem was approaching people I didnt know, especially if I was alone. If I had at least one friend with me it made it easier because he/she would act as a mental bodyguard.

my advice to you would be to try the newbie challenge, go to a crowded place in your area and just say "hello" or "hi" to anyone you dont know. I put my own spin on this by asking "Hi, can you recommend a good place around here to visit/eat/etc?"

do this for a whole day and see how you feel.

I just did it last week at a large mall in the suburbs where I live (woodfield in chicago) and I felt great afterwards, since a lot of the time I got good responses. Also we look a little alike (I'm Persian) so your appearance isnt an issue, you just have to be a warm confident person.

I havn't been rejected atall still I have the fear of rejection, I know I can aproach any women but still I have the hesitation of aproach :/

Just take baby steps, even after I've gotten pretty far I still get that "butterflies" feeling in my gut when I meet new people, but it goes away after I get to know them.

You've got a pretty good goal, to just open everyone, but keep it mind that you'll be rejected (it happens to everyone) just dont view it as rejection

Some other poster on these forums called it "screening" in other words the girls that reject you simple weren't what you were looking for, so ignore them and move on.
