i can vouch for this! i'm new here, but like it started because i was gaming a girl in the year above at college who was seen as like one of the hottest girls and did it because 1) i didnt really like her first name! and 2) to detach myself a bit from it, couldnt be bothered to deal with the banter from mates, so didnt want to let it on what i was really doing!

How do you find out her last name?? Do you just go:

Her: "I'm Amber"
Me: "OK what's your last name?"

If you go for the number close, I ask for her surname because I like to sort all my contacts or w/e by surname but thats just me.

Could be like "Just Amber?"

I get called a lot by my surname, so I guess its easier for me to play on that.
