I just want to get some thoughts on this. I find about 1/3 of the sets I approach they just "tolerate" me. I dont think its anything Im doing wrong. I think its a combination of

1) A guy in the set is ruining your game because he feels threatened. He doesnt even have to open his mouth or say a bad word, or amog you. If the girls pick up any hint that hes not happy- then they're not happy. So I focus on working the guy, but no matter how hard you try- if he gets a hint one of the girls likes you then hes not happy.

2) Some sets just dont want to be approached full stop. THey dont want to be approached by me, brad pitt, the richest man in the world or anyone. Some guys recommend you just bail out when you get the hint your not wanted.... but surely there is some trick/gambit/routine or something that can open them up.

Im sure you know the feeling/situation Im talking about. You open the set. THey have a bit of fun with you, and they are nice to you... but its all very superficial. When you walk away they are glad your gone. And if they see you even comming back in that general direction they start getting their excuses ready.


Heres a technique Ive being trying, it works to an extent- but Im still not getting "great" results with it.

I open the set and leave them before 2 minutes is up. In that 2 minutes its very general--- absoluetly no kino, just a very very quick chat about something situational.. make them laugh, make them laugh a second time and then leave quickly. THen come back 20 minutes later. Same thing again only this time stay a tad bit longer. Leave again. Come back a third time and then start gaming them for real.

Any thoughts or advice would be great.
