I have been using this method for about two months now and it has proven to be a very successful way of opening and gaming the hired guns.

First thing, I should mention that I don’t drink in bars or clubs (only in more private situations with target... alone) unless a worthy bartender or HB has earned the privilege of buying "me" a drink. The whole process is very tongue in cheek, but here is the general format...

-Enter club/bar walk up to bar...
Hired Gun: "What would you like to drink?"
PUA: "Hold that thought..." At this point I walk away and open a quick set for social proof and maybe for coming back to later.

-Back to the bar...
Hired Gun: "Would you like a drink?"
PUA: "Do you have lemons?"
Hired Gun: "yes"
PUA: "I'll have a crown and water, with TWO lemon slices, and a small napkin... Hold the crown but don’t forget the napkin!" Smiles and first eye contact. Sometimes I’ll put my hand on hers as I make sure she understands the last part.
Hired Gun: "Cute... So... you just want an ice water?"
PUA: "Don’t forget the napkin I’ll be right back..."
-She brings drink, and usually asks about the importance of the napkin.
Hired gun: "What’s with the napkin?"
PUA: "Hold out your hand." - Squeeze lemon, carefully clean fingers with napkin, crumple it up and put it in her hand. "I take pride in pressing my clothes and good hygiene, unlike all your friends dirtying up the bar" Playful tone.

At this point I have done a lot of things within the first 5 or 10 minutes in the bar. Opened set/sets, social proof, tons of DHV (don’t drink, great hygiene, funny, etc) and DLV'd the rest of the room.

From here I run a few standard routines and work into my "You should feel honored to buy me a drink!" routine. It goes like this...

PUA: "Do you want to feel very privileged for a brief moment tonight?"
Hired Gun: "How is that?"
PUA: "Buy me a shot/drink."
Hired Gun: "And how would that make ME feel special?"
PUA: "It's very rare that you'll ever see me drink in your bar and if you do you can rest assured that it’s for a significant reason."
Hired Gun: "Why is that?"
PUA: (I never answer her question unless she is a bit more invested in the conversation) “Don’t get me wrong, I love enjoying a quality bottle of wine with good company at a comfortable place, but this place has neither." Sometimes she will interject here about how she is good company, in either case continue... "But I feel like having a drink for entertainment value and at this moment you seem to be the only candidate worthy of sharing this rare occurrence with me... just don’t tell my friends they’d be a bit jealous... and don’t make it a cheesy shot, I’m not that easy!"
From this point usually there is some conversation about what kind of shot and then she pours them, but the next step to this is very important.
The toast.
Make sure to do a great toast! From your brief observation of her you should be able to think of something that is of importance to her to toast to. Drink the shot, blow her a kiss (while touching hand or some other small Kino), and roll off. When you come back… YOUR IN!
You’ve DHV’d, created a memorable experience, social proofed, neged, kino’d, false time constraint, and plenty of other stuff you guys have read in all the books.
Enjoy and more to come,
-Sam

How's your success rate in really busy bars?

I dont like it, theres a difference between negging, DHV, DLV and coming across as smug. Seems like most chicks would think "if youre too good for this place why are you here?"

I'd definitely tweak it a bit to come off slightly less cocky and a bit more funny. Also, I can't imagine pulling it off in the busy bars I usually go to, but next time I'm in a slow bar or before it gets busy, then I'll probably give it a try.

I guess I forgot to specify that my tone is more on the 'fun side'! The cocky thing doesn't work well for me because in inherently cocky by nature and when I go the 'cocky' route people usually just think I’m arrogant. And lastly... this is definatly done when the bar is slow. It's usually my warm-up for the night before the crowds comes in and the hired guns haven't experienced the stresses of their job yet that night (I owned a bar and believe me being a woman bartender can be very stressful as the night progresses).

I like it... but i can agree with everyone else and say that it would be hard to work in a real busy bar
