Anyone have any subway openers? I live in NYC and there are tons of hotties on the subway only problem is they have their defenses up big time i.e. ipods on, no eye contact/talking, reading paper etc. Saw a serious cutie on the subway to work this morning and kicking myself now because froze up and had nothing cause didn't want to seem like a weirdo.

Same goes for the London Underground. I was going to start a thread along these lines. I'm sure when you stand at the station, we all try to scan the faces inside each carriage and try to get in the same one as a super HB that catches your eye.

Go Direct on them and just be honest about it. She's beautiful and you want to talk to her. For some of you, you might ask, how can I get her attention if she was texting, listening to music, or w.e? Ask this to yourself: How would I get a person's attention? Just say "Excuse me" or I sometimes snap my fingers in their vision to get their attention. For those ones with earphones I continue showing them they should take off their earphones using gestures with my hand. Have strong eye-contact! And speak slow and calm.

You can choose your carriage carefully to ensure you're sitting near an HB, or you can just go over and open. You only have a few minutes so you don't have time to flirt with her, but you think she looks great and you want to find out something about her. Use statements as questions (instead of "what do you do" say "you strike me as a graphic design kind of person"), or cold read, tease her a little, and then why not exchange numbers and meet up after work? Well if you really like her just go over without any particular opener. Introduce yourself, tell her she looks interesting and that you want to meet her. It doesn't matter what she does in the moment. If she has earphones plugged just make a gesture with your hands to signal her to take them off and than start talking. If she is reading a newspaper don't be afraid to interrupt her.

There is no subway where i live but it's what i would do if i want to approach a beautiful girl on the subway.

If she has earphone ask her what she is listening to. I did this once and it worked. DC not NYC.

If she doesn't have ear phones I would just compliment something she is wearing or ask directions like: "Hey do you know how long a walk it is from Canal St. to NYU?"

Strike up a casual conversation and if she is friendly / seems attracted close her. Say something like: "By the way you're really cute. Lets grab a drink some time".

I know a lot of people feel its important to go very direct.. but I find this only to be true with Night/Bar/Club game. In regular daily grind life its not really necessary and sometimes sets the wrong tone.

If a woman wont engage you in a CASUAL conversation she definitely wont engage you if you hit on her hard core. Keep in mind that women typically assume you are romantically interested in them of you talk to them at all. So no need to make it that obvious.
