I've made strides, worked out for years, am 6'3 210, and have been regularly attracting girls IRL by my body language and confidence, but my next hurdle is being a leader of men and being able to protect my friends.

Case in point: in the cab with HB7 that i met the night before, we got together for another night of drunken making out in some bars around town. It was halloween at 3 a.m., and basically there were a bunch of assholes in there. I had to sit all the way in the back and she was two rows up, and these guys were just harassing her verbally, asking her to do things, never letting her alone.

She held up pretty well and I gave them a couple of minutes, hoping the cab ride would be over, but I said firmly to shut up, they were annoying the shit out of everyone, and that they were pathetic.

They kind of responded and brushed me of, and continued for another minute or so before they got off the cab.

What's the best escalation method for defending your honor and others? Should I dare them to say another word to her, or should I have done what I did and then just punched one of them in the face when they continued to talk?

Is there a danger to being too aggressive?

As far as I understand, u were in the bus. No need to sit, stand up in the bus with her, just keep her close. And this was Halloween so no need to worry about this happening often. Next time if a girl is near u and somebody stats asking her to do things just throw something like "Chill man, she's taken" If u are athletic as u say you are and u say in the right voice most likely they'll shut up, or thwor couple of comments before shutting up which u can easily ignore and let them go away without loosing their face. When it comes to fighting, I wouldn't advise you that. No matter how big you are street fight can go both ways and you don't want to get in trouble because of one more girl. It doesn't mean you have to sit and watch how they're raping her. Show aggression if needed, but don't go too far.
