Basically i was with 3 girls after a night out. A bunch of lads came over and immediately started harassing them after we left because they had food. One of them tried to steal the girls chips and she told me to get him away so i took them off him and he hit me in the stomach twice. I then put my fists up to fight and he put his fists down and one of the girls kept telling me to walk off. So i later walked off and he hit me again in the stomach, then his mate came over and stopped him. Later i was angry that i didn't fight and showed it to the girls this could possibly be AFC but then again there were 4 of his mates around and the girl didn't want me to fight.

I'm a total noob to PUA but it seems clear to me that you did the right thing. Unless you believe you could have beaten him and all his friends, the best thing was to walk away - you're not going to impress anyone by getting yourself beaten up. You showed yourself in the best possible light by seeming willing to indulge in the fight but not actually doing so by her request.
It was a crappy situation to be in and I think you made the best of it.

Women dont like douches that start fights. Women in general hate conflict. You intervened on the girl's behalf and stopped the guy, that right there is something not alot of people have the courage to do. You dont need to justify your actions by beating that guy to a pulp.

Really, your own male ego is hurt by this. The woman looked at that fight totally differently. She saw a guy that stepped in and stopped the harassment towards her.

It sucks that it happened bro, but it's not a DHV to beat a guy to a bloody mess. You did what you had to and was classy about it. Try not to throw first when there are women around IF you can help it. They'll think more highly of you than that other jerk.

If you do wonder what these girls think, when a girl sees two men fight, it's not like she has an instant attraction to the man that's winning the fight. Not at all. Especially considering how the fight started, the other guys just a plain dick.

Just make sure next time, if your ever in a situation like that again, dont do anything you'll regret. Whether it's standing by and watching it all unfold, taking an ass beating or giving one, always walk away from situations like that knowing you did what you thought had to be done. This goes alot deeper than just the girl. After a few fights, they're really nothing to be hesitant about and after a few times you'll use better judgment whether to stay and fight or walk away. Focus on that, dont worry about how cool or uncool you looked.
