I'm talking to a girl I picked up at a party right now, and shes telling me what other people have said about me from the party.

It turns out, one girl at the party didn't like me because I had black nail vanish on and I was wearing my cowboy hat, I've just put her in the "shallow, childish" bucket, I have no time for girls like that.

However, it turns out (which made me LOL) that several other guys at that party disliked me, and at least one of them went as far to say they "hate" me. Now, she doesn't know why. But could it be I was appearing Alpha and enjoying myself? I had a couple of girls on each arm for a while, before I got rid of one of them and made out with the other.

I've never had anyone say they hate me before, but then, I've never really been like this at a party. I'm not bothered about it, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had anything similar?

You were not annoying because you were being alpha but because you failed to be alpha. You were being tryhard.

I know this from experience so offence meant.

You were not wearing your gear as if it was your clothes, it was an avatar. It was incongruent with your personality.

This is common among new PUAs. Or rAFCs... I know this because the only good PUA I know that still go out like that is Mystery.

Overpeacock... That is bad. I mean, a slightly different style is just fine, it is not a problem at all, in fact that is what you are looking for. But if you go all out... There are no people in the world that would say that that is their style. It is so obvious that it is tryhard.

Peacock on a normal level, that makes you interesting.

You wanna trigger the, confident to wear what pleases him thing, not the, fight the power I challenge society thing. One of them is a master off this world and one of them is a lone visitor in this world.

Green PUAs are annoying, obnoxious, loud, braggy, challenging, hyperactive, jerks.

Real PUAs are fun loving, controlled, secure, socially savvy, energetic men.

See what I mean.

I have been there too man, I am naturally very annoying and whatever crap I give you now was true for me when I started out too.

Hmm. I don't think that was the issue, but then I would say that. I don't think I was "failing to be Alpha" or being "Try hard" because I wear the cowboy hat like I own it, I've warn it for a good few months now and its become a part of who I am, all my friends are used to be wearing it so its a normal thing for me to do now.

I wasn't chasing girls or anything at the party either, I was relaxing, having a few drinks and enjoying myself and the company of the girls around me. I certainly wasn't being loud and obnoxious, because my personality isn't like that anyway, I'm generally a quiet person.

Ok, my bad... But normally this happens when your inner game is way lower than your outer game...

Perhaps ezo is correct, you must always take criticism as a possibility of being correct. It's part of developing.

Also there is a then line between alpha an annoying; by that I mean annoying people usually possess some characteristics of an alpha however they are just unable of projecting there qualities the proper way.

Last but not least, one thing I've learned through experience is usually when more than one person says the same thing about me it turns out to be true. I doubt it had anything to do with your nail polish or clothes just your manner.

I believe you are on the right track, just inneed of a few adjustments..

Hint: You can be a quiet person an still remain alpha, it's all about being comfterable with ya self an setting the vibe.

There's always room for improvement
