I got into the Community in the era when Mystery was king, the RSD guys were the "it" new trend, and Ross Jeffries was fading into a comfortable, stable following of NLP-guys. David DeAngelo was the most mainstream PUA and Neil Strauss was surfing on the success of "The Game."

I invested a big piece of my life in the Community, got a LTR, and slowly lost track of time.

Fast forward to now.

I'm trying catch up with the time I missed, but things have changed and I'm sorta lost.

Who are the big names? What are the major schools of thought? Whatever happened to all those greats?

I'm looking for some of the more *informed* members to paint me a picture of what the Community looks like now.

It's shifting towards so called "sexual tension" game.

check out 60 years of challange, he's the 'inventor' of it all.

And some say Gambler is ripping him off with his stealth seduction course, which has alot similarities with 60yoc, but is more adapted to mainstream pick-up whereas 60yoc is straight to the point, no bullshit. Which might be hard to grasp and could come over the wrong way towards newbies.

it's still good.

LOL! That made me actually laugh out loud.

So, basically, RSD grew into one of the really big names thanks to their successful cult-like marketing tactics and pretty much became the leader of the whole natural game trend, even more recognized for their natural game stuff (often referred to as "Nu-RSD" since their older stuff was a MM ripoff) than Vin DiCarlo. The whole natural game bandwagon came and went (kinda, not really). As always, the community gets a very steady influx of MM-worshiping sheep since The Game still sells.

I tried to get this forum to catch up with the rest of the community's advancements by writing a review for 60 Years of Challenge after getting some awesome results with it and so far it's been going pretty well in terms letting the 60YOC meme get passed around. None of the really experienced guys like using MM anymore. 60 isn't really a new inventor but rather someone who's letting the legit shit from the past resurface. Gunwitch is a pretty terrible writer so his sexual tension ideas unfortunately never really got too mainstream, even though he's got a more effective seduction method than most gurus. 60YOC is like GWM 2.0 IMO

As someone who is new to the community, is it a good idea to learn this "sexual tension" right away or to first start off with something like MM?

Learn the sexual tension stuff and stay away from MM if you have trouble seducing. If you have trouble being social, there are other resources you can turn to for that.

Thanks for the update, Chief. Other than the links on your signature line, I haven't been able to find any 60yoc material online without buying the program. Is there a decent source anywhere?

I'll address this directly because it's something that I've been working on.

Chief...sorry if this looks like a plug, but it's very pertinent to the question.

I recently created The Guru Black Book as a way for guys to compare and contrast the Gurus and get the best advice from them in a way that's never been done before.

I'll be announcing the exact Gurus, what they had to say and the way I'm delivering it on Thursday night. This is totally free to attend.

The Guru Black Book is not free...but since we're bringing it public for the first time, this webinar will offer people a very special discount.

I think you'll really like what you see....and once more to Chief...not spamming this board. :)

Thanks

Why does no one mention Sinn when it comes to "Sexual Tension" and talking bout leading guys, he was named Pick Up of 2009 for a reason, knowing Seduction Roadmap he does the same thing as 60 but is more orally oriented, more about setting sexual frames, sexual qualifications, passive frames, etc. I personally use a lot of his stuff and got the quickest lays from using the tactics....

I would definitely recommend to check him out.
