Delivery, probably the most unrecognized , unemphasized trait in this community yet the most beneficial.

This post is dedicated to this trait , to highlight it and to make you question your own delivery . Delivery is an important tool . And for gurus out there looking to make a bit of money this would be a gold mine to invest into.

Its not what you say its how you say it

The differences between There, their , theyres and where were and wears

Each of theese words sound the same yet is delivered in a different way in different socail settings . e.g.

I love what your wearing ! - this is delivered in a form of a statement compared to wheres mike which is delivered in a form of a interrogative .

Ok so ive highlighted the basics you probably understand that right ?

A more extreme example which maybe be relevant to you

girl : You best like the band XXXXX or me and you are through
guy : yeah i love the .....................nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ( Its funny because the first part of what the guy was saying was misleading to what his end statement was) Its probably not funny reading it , due to the fact that this has to be delivered properly !

When Im talking about delivery Im thinking Timing , Body language ,1000s of facail expressions , holding silence ,emotion, throwing funny looks , body rocking , vocal pitch , social setting , reactions , raising eyebrows , scratching your head , rubbing an imaginary goatee .... you get me

Think about it if any of you guys have ever opened and have been shot down instantly then your delivery was wrong in some sort of way . I.E. The girl was pissed off ( check her body language)this would fall under social setting ,your vocal tone wasn't interesting enough , if it was an opinion opener maybe your facial expressions didn't look intrigued in what they had to say, so you seemed false.

sometimes a great delivery is using all of these and then other times its like you don't need to use many of them.

These are all general examples and its up to you to question your own delivery and whether your delivering your material right, whether you appear legit .

For those looking to improve their delivery you can only learn by experience . Practice facial expressions , Work on your voice tone , watch stand up comedians ! ( they're gold for this sort of stuff)

and for those that may disagree with the importance of it answer this . Why do we require Emoticons faces for talking to people on the internet ?

on my day game, i remember reading a phrase off girl's paper i was gaming, and said "protein enzyme something or other", slowly, seductively, heavy eye contact with a little smirk and she LOVED it, she rested her head on me and we watched Bob Ross on youtube together.

watching Bob ross was my opener actually. Its why i dont use routines, so i have to rely on my delivery.
got any practice techniques for delivery? my only one is just trying to talk about the mosty boring things but really enthusiastically such as kung fu movies i watch or my obsession with Vimto, when gaming or with random people. vocal tonality and speech speed, were my 2 bad things before game and when i decided to work on it ive noticed big improvements everywhere

actually its how you make them feel, but I get the point.

Delivery is one of the funnest parts of PU. Women have no clue who this guy coming up to them is.
I say people honestly dont think about every little facial expression or voice or any of that stuff for the delivery.
I say find an actor or comedian that you would like to be or just want to have fun with. Watch some of his shit and just get his feel. Just visual him and what he does, then do that. No I'm not saying steal that frame forever.
I'm saying become aware of what this person does that makes them so great

As a person changes frames from different actors the responses that the person get are different for each type of actor the person is trying to portray., but when the same frame is used continously there will be very similar responses from women.

i am quite as asshat at times so I have 3 actors/comedians I think of to affect my frame, they all are assholes but there frames are on opposite spectrums.
From Entrourage: Ari Gold: Jeremy Piven-Very powerful frame
From House: House: Hugh Laurie-very wise frame
From Tosh.0: Daniel Tosh-Just a dont give a shit asshat, but you cant help but love it

Note: Im not saying that these ppl are my frame, but its fun to pull at lot from each one and use them. Each one has its own feel, with their own set of body expressions unqiue to them.

thats actually a pretty good idea .

but its hard to practice theirs just so many different ways you can deliver your material that it would be hard to point anyone in the right direction .Part from experience and this If you dont have a job become a part times salesman , a good sales man can deliver a good few lines to sell you something that you never thought you needed , that's probably the best example of where to get the right technique from i can think of at the moment..

The idea of this post is to bring your attention to it , not to panic about it and loose sleep when it comes to every interaction.

I was just thinking of it as being out in the field as cue smile make sure this and so forth, as some guys will do if this isnt clarified and look extremley awkward.

Before someone goes out I'm all about thinking about smiling. I usually have a mini dance party to get the energy up.
nice kung fu is very bland in general though, not saying I dont like it, but why not up the stakes.
Back in the day I used this line to test how good my delivery is(note its a stolen line), if done wrong its awkward and you will get blown out. after we had introductions I would say it at my target but to the whole group.
I would say "I'm trying to become a comedian rite now and I'm working on this joke, has any guy ever came up this close to you *take a step towards her* and said I can smell your ovaries......."
Now you must hold a stare with your target and not laugh. Keep holding it....hold it...hold it.
Bam! she starts laughing.
Now you can tease her bc thats a horrible joke, and at the same time the guys in the set will try to amog you and tell you your wierd, but you have the girls attention the set is yours u can tell em to get bent.

Its just hard to try and teach people this.

Thats all you need to be funny is wits ( basically being clever) and delivery .
