One hell of a post Xf. Kind of lights a fire in my stomach. I am a second generation, but i never really got that involved on the forum. I would come in and post about my specific problems. My game was more natural, and i would just pick and choose little things to add to it. I really did't start using this stuff hardcore until a few months ago. This year, i wanna do better. I wanna actually help people with there problems. Yeah, i am still growing into this; but i think i am at a point in which i can begin to help. so yeah, thanks for the post man, lets see what we can do with this forum.

Very innovative & motivating post. It feels good to be a part & and a member of this community and the game.

3rd gen here.
Oddly enough what really got me started was a book thats not really aimed at dating. I HOPE THEY SERVE BEER IN HELL by Tucker Max earlier this year. Then I stumbled onto the THE GAME. Then the vh1 show then here we are.
Already met a very interesting sarging buddy in ventmonkey, and hope to meet more while to share some knowledge & learn from our peers and forefathers. Im honored to be here.

Thanks to all
:D

great post man... kind of got me pumped up to go out, being that its 3 AM I don't know where the hell to go besides a strip club... I wanna thank all the guys that are the cornerstone of these forums and pass their knowledge and experience on to us newcomers, too many people, mostly women, think we deceive and manipulate girls when actually we're just creating an oppurtunity that in the past we didn't know existed. I just hope that the majority of us are in here to find the girl of our dreams and enhance our social lives rather than use women for sex... It's because of those guys that use girls for sex that we have this art in the first place.

Different. But I have to say, the people you mention like Mystery, Style, Ross Jefferies, are all just.....men. They aren't gods, or even god like. They are men just like you and I. They just took some information and moved with it because they had PASSION. And they still do, to some degree.

PUA isn't about women. Its about your passions. What do you want out of life. What can you do with your life that will leave a mark, help others, make your life better, enrich others by you being YOU.

All the openers in the world won't make you a better you. All the DHV you can do won't make you a better you. Putting it all together, and enjoying what you want and achieve will make you better. Helping others will make you better.

BE PASSIONATE ABOUT YOUR LIFE, THAT IS PUA!!!!

Yeah, I’m kind of embarrassed about “jumping on the bandwagon” but I’m not here to become a social robot, I’m not one who likes canned openers, responses, or anything like that. I do believe that they are only there for people to learn to open up and that they are actually crutches that prevent you from further developing your inner game because you rely on it and never really develop a style of your own. I’ve been lurking a few forums such as the “pick-up-artist-forum”, paying close attention to people like Methuselah and taking in what he says. I’ve also noticed the increasing concerns of new people coming into the community as well as people finding out more about the community in general. Personally, I wish I would have joined a few years ago so I wouldn’t be viewed as one of the people who is going to ruin the community. I’m here for some self improvement and hopefully to help the community head in a positive direction.

Oh and, xfman. Thanks for your site, I've used it as a tool and have it bookmarked for reference.

Edit: My name actually is Ray Casanova, lol.

Ray, first of all, there's nothing to be embarrased about. There is nothing wrong with "jumping on the bandwagon", so to speak. Those of us who are here for the right reasons aren't here to become social robots. And, as far as the canned stuff, and people using it like cruthces to keep from growing, they aren't gonna get what they could get from all this either. The canned stuff DOES have it's place, because for someone who has NO confidence and NO idea of what to say to open, the canned stuff is critical. But for others, once you have started and gained some experience, you can then use THAT experience as material FOR openers and FOR further routines and stories down the road, which will actually increase your social value. But, you have to get started somewhere. For instance, I did start with the canned stuff, but now I have real material of my own to use, and more materail with each passing week.

Late 2nd gener here. As soon as i started the VH1 show was announced like 4 weeks later. Funny thought I'm not sure if i would be here if saw the show first, not really sure why? I think its because I always see those shows as being such crap, LOL. (obviously not the case)
