I've been friends with this girl for about a year now. She was "with" one of my friends all last year but haven't been for a while now. We get back up to school and I wanted to get out of the friend zone. I did what I had to do to do so and all of a sudden, I have this girl texting me everyday multiple times a day. Asking me to go meet her at one of our frat houses when she's going. We chilled together the entire time at an after-party with decent kino (nothing too overt and didn't escalate- not the time yet). So it's been an interesting turn of events I would say.

It's a bit of a sticky situation because I want to drag it out a bit to put some more time between her and my friend so I'm not trying to escalate immediately. I figure to just let her chase me and show interest and I would only show interest when she does first (She texts me first and gets flirty- I reciprocate). In person though I would up the kino slowly.

I think it'd be best not to show too much interest in this situation. What do you guys think? It's somewhat of long-term game... What kind of steps should I take here to keep her chasing me for a little while and eventually close this? I Need any advice on this situation.

i've actually been in a similar situation and my advice to you is cut her away... by the sounds of it your friend doesnt really know whats going on and if he finds out he'll probably feel betrayed... so my advice is if you value your friendship with your mate dont waste it over some chick...

i lost a good mate over a similar situation... we're still not talking lol... and i finally woke up to myself and realised that she's only a girl and there are plenty more out there just like her...
