not that i'm dying to hook up with her, but later a friend told her he was sorry some guy she liked had left, but it was no problem because he invited me over and i was right there for her.
I was drinking some sips from her beer up to that moment, so then I said: how are we going to hook up? she hasn't even bought me a beer, i have to drink sips from hers.
At this moment she got all bitchy and snapped back: hey! i don't want to f**k you!!
I was a little surprised, so i just made a face like: what's her problem, looking at my other friends.
so, was it wrong for me to say that? and what should I have said for a comeback? I'm sure there's a better way to handle that situation.

Of course I don't know the full situation but I would usually go with something like
"Wow, you're direct aren't you. I've been warned about girls like you!"
"That's what they all say... for the first 15 minutes."
"Damn, is that all that's ever on your mind?"
The ones where you're saying things to her directly can be also said to her friend's instead, for a slightly different effect. e.g. "Wow, she's direct isn't she?"/"Wow guys, is that all that's ever on her mind?"
Said with a smile, something like that could defuse her trying to make you look bad, if that was her intent. Just shows that you don't really take yourself (or her, for that matter) too seriously and can deal with random shit like that. _________________ "I tell a girl in a minute, I drive a bucket. Then freeze out as a punishment & laugh w. Ur friends till she's spent enough time on time out.
Then neg her about her little moment but make her laugh about it.. N then its politics as usual
