I was talking with this girl on facebook for the past couple days through messages (not IMs) and today her friend was telling me that she thinks the conversation is so awkward. We also never really see each other at the moment.

Let's not get into what the conversation is about and all, the bottom line is that her friend is an obstacle for me. I bet she asked her "Do you like that guy?" since girls gossip so much...and then I bet she answered with, "No haha" just to sound cool.

Anyways, whatever it is, what should I do in this situation? I was thinking of a freeze out and not saying anything to her anymore all together. She hasn't even responded for the past day and a half and I think it would be dumb to tell her, "Oh your friend told me you said the conversation is awkward."

But if I COULD say one more thing to her, what could it be?
