Chief this was a good read, I hate to admit but I sometimes fall into this category. I think everyone is insecure in different degrees. I tend to not hide it haha, I know a lot of guys that are insecure but they use things like being egotistical, loud and use other people to get attention from them, but I really hate this part of me.

I actually bought this book called "a**hole-ol-o-gy" that basically talks about how to be less of a pushover and take action in life to get what you want. As I was getting my divorce last year I became extremely co-dependant, needy, and clingy and I think it really back fired on me. Bottom line, my worst thing that I do is being clingy and needy.

I hooked up with this girl in Vegas last weekend and I am guessing she just wanted a one night stand and here I am making her my FB friend and already trying to make arrangements for meeting her in San Francisco when I go up there to see my kids. Bah!

It does not help that I am stationed in the middle of nowhere and I pretty much live an hour from the nearest civilization, if you want to call it that. Knowledge is power and I am trying to recalibrate my brain to think differently. Thanks for article.
