I recently tried to pick up a HB7.5. I was at a seminar, she was operating the booth to get feedbacks. So I go to the booth, do some idle chat with her as I fill up the form. She seemed friendly and playful (at least with her guy co-workers) and when I completed the feedback form, I asked her if I should submit it to her. She replied that I should put it in the box which was a few feet away. Bad move coz now I had to move away to post the form and coming back sort of was a hiccup (at least to me). I didn't come back right after (I hesitated), then told myself.. fuck it.. I need the practice! So I walked up to her, took another form, modified it with details about her name and phone number (for her to fill up). I then told her in a friendly but authoritative voice, that I also have a form for her to fill up. She looked at it and smiled and said sorry, she can't do that. I just smiled back and said ok and took the form away...and said bye to her and walked off... (COZ I DIDN'T KNOW HOW THE HELL TO REACT!)

I've sinced moved on. It was just practice to me anyway and if she didn't respond, it's her problem, not mine. But always wanting to improve myself, I want to get feedback from you guys on how you would have handled this situation so I can improve my game.

I liked the way you tried. I'm guessing that the idle chat wasn't anything special so she probably thought of you as just another guy.

Keeping in mind that she's basicly a hired gun you could have thrown in a neg or two. (disqualifying and getting her out of her routine) Also your conversation probably didn't build rapport or had some sort of escalation (kino, tension, attraction).

A phone number rejection is not always a reason to eject but it sure makes the game a lot harder because you lost value. You could have changed subjects and talked to her for a bit longer. Something like "that's a shame, you won't be eligible to win a beauty-spa weekend then. Did you know that 45% of the people lie on these things?". (or find something better, maybe with a neg in it)

If you're lucky you saved the conversation and after building attraction this time make it bodylanguagly clear that you're leaving (or make a false time constraint) and she might still say "give me that form, I'll fill it in".

Just thinking... hope it gave you some ideas.

Got it! Basically, have some sort of smart comeback that hopefully will help raise back my value. Getting some ideas already!
