I'm a proud student from the Second Generation, I joined this forum the 17 Aug of 2006. From that moment I have post and discuss a lot of topics, I have learn like a 7 years old kid learning a new game. I have become a better person, I have achieved many of my goals, I have learned the steps, I already walked the road and I know how to do it.

I have been one of the fews that have been in this forum for long enough to see how people behave, when they found the community, what are their expectations; I have seen the evolution of this forum, I am a witness of the constant and incredible changes people can make, I have read incredible posts and I have met incredible people in this forum.

There are a lot of things we can talk about but the intention of this post is to Welcome but more in depth I want to improve this forum and the guests and members of this forum... I want to create, I want to help this community, and I know how, I know what this community needs and I know what YOU want to know and what YOU might want to learn, but I can tell you, this road its not an easy road, many have given up his opportunities to have a new life, many have lost their faith.

Before Neil Strauss (Style) published his book "The Game", the community existed but in a different way.

Ross Jeffries was the father and the Leader of the first Generation of Pick Up Artists, with his unknown method of Speed Seduction he opened a new field, he start creating this community with few members but with unique personalities and a certain problem WOMAN.

After Jeffries more great men start investigating about this underground community and some of them became great PUA and there was a man named Mystery...

A young man with big ambitions and a need to learn, he created one of the most recognized systems of PU the M3 model, he started some workshops and thats when Neil Strauss appeared.

Neil wrote a book about the underground community he found and he started learning and learning fast, he learned almost every material and he created great stuff and then he became the father of the Second Generation... The Game generation.

The Game was released and the First Generation found a huge boost with a lot of new guys that joined the community because they read Neil's book.

A lot of the First Generation were scared but they knew they had the ability to adapt...

This Second Generation brought some great guys that have a lot of same qualities, and not only the need to learn and in most cases the lack of WOMAN in their lives, I'm talking about the characteristics most of the Second Generation guys have... We all were interested, we all read a book, we all start digging, we all start learning, I'm not saying the Second Generation create leaders, I'm saying it created some great learners that with practice they became underground PUA.

I was a witness of the changes during the Second Generation, I met great PUA that created their own methods and that helped the community without earning a dollar. I have seen others that helped people and teach others great stuff, and they earn money doing that.

This PUA community have a quality not every community have, and that is that this community depends only and I say only on their members, if these members don't help each other, there is no community there is only a social community with selfish persons wanting a good but an individual good.

Mystery decided to make a show with VH1 and he became the Father of the Third generation, This guy is one of our respected Gurus and most of us learned a lot from him, and now he opened the door to even more people with his show.

I want to congratulate YOU, for being here reading this post , because that shows the need you have to learn and that you wan tto be better, you don't care about limitations , because you know they are made by humans ,and that there is nothing impossible for you because everything, every quality every idea is inside you and that you create your own world.

I want YOU, member of the Zero (naturals), First, Second or Third Generation son to help this community , with quality posts. sharing your opinion, helping the new members.

But most important I want you New member to help me out too, I want YOU to read a lot of stuff i want you to help others and I want to see how you became the next great PUA and maybe the Fourth Generation Father.

It is a great pleasure to have YOU here and I want to make this the best community ever, and know I have the people I need its just a common goal and _I need everyone to help.

Welcome Third Generation PUAs. And Welcome to the Third Era

So this could become the manifest of the third generation of PUA. Bravo.

Kind of makes me feel like a grandparent, being a first generation. Oh well, chicks always dig older guys.

Very Nice post to give the newcomers a sense of hope and community
this is a relief from the other post of people saying they're leaving because of the recent increase of new people an how they're annoyed
those post brought morale down a bit for new people.
This Post was much needed:D

Hope more people read this post.

Late 2nd generation here --

People need to stop bitching about mystery's show -- especially those who learned about the community by reading The Game. The book and the show both have had similar effects on the community, as xfman said above, and the best PUAs just adapt and move on.

Ahem . . . so just how OLD are you? lol

Great post btw.

Yeah, I think the show actually had a lot of positive results too. For me, actually, I STARTED learning about PU JUST before the show, saw a commerical, checked it out. Had NO idea who Mystery was UNTIL the first show, then googled him and found out. From there, found out who Ross Jefferies was, Neil Strauss, and I already knew about David Deangelo. He was the first one I actually knew about. I found it funny that David actually learned FROM the other guys. Of course he then added some stuff, like the C & F, but his foundation was learned from them.

Now, the two big names that I seem to do best with the teachings of is David D and Mystery.

XFMAN, you spoke from my heart.

I am second generation - although I've read The Game after I found out about this stuff.

The post; it is phenomenal. It's like "Heureka!"; I hope you are satisfied, but you just gave me new purpose in life. Until now, I was building my new ME, fighting my inner demons and solving social issues. Now, I is my time to USE the material, to get real. To get some girls, to make friends, to start true pick-up mastery. I CAN help others and understand them; it is time for me to use this valuable skill. To create, improve and master my pick-up skills.

I say; If I can stop smoking (and I DID), I can devote myself to this. I am going to become the youngest - and the best - PUA in history.

All the best, again tnx XFMAN. Thanks a LOT.

Carpe Diem.
