Does going direct in a shopping center/mall work? Might go sarging with a buddy of mine and don't know weather to go direct or indirect? (i prefer direct), or a transition into direct ie.

In my mind I can see it work pretty well, but I've read lots of people get blown out during direct game with "i have a bf" or something like that.

Girls may have bf. This is the positive/negative side. It gets you screen the girl for interest within seconds. It's better to get quick blow out than waste 20min in conversation that's gonna lead to nowhere cuz she got bf.

If she has bf.. try to say "cool, my mom loves bf. anyway, you know what's real cool?" and transition.

it might works and might not.

the reason direct work is because it's very alpha and you don't have competition during the day.

don't care about others. if it works for you then do it. i also prefer direct most of the time.
