background, im chasing a girl at the moment but honestly its basically me doing all the chasing. but if i dont msg her or talk to her she msgs me and asks our mutual frds why i havent txted back... we've gone on a few dates, but i dont think i am doing enough to attract her...

she is new nurse in the department for new borns and im an intern at the hospital, and i've been trying to do some push pull lately, but i need advice on where i can go with this.. as i feel like a child driving a ferrari and not knowing what to do.

in the most recent context;

i texted saying ... "good luck with your new job, hope u dun get nervous and drop any babies"

she replied few days later saying "just delivered my first baby !! it was so cool"
and i replied "congrats but bet u it cried when it saw you tho "
"actually the eyes were closed so didnt see me at all!"

few days later i replied
"ok then,i guess i needed b jealous that the 1st girl he saw was as pretty as u"
wiht her reply .."umm the baby was a girl"

i dunno where to go this now....

I wouldn't neg too much on text, as you noticed it's easily going the wrong way without you having the chance to recover. The good thing though is that she's answering your texts and you have been on dates so she must be some sort of interested.

Why don't you just set another date? 'Hey hun, I'm gonna be at placeX at that time so come over to placeY so we can eat/drink/whatever'. Don't ask, just state. If she can't at the proposed time don't worry. There's a non-verbal agreement now to meet eachother soon so you can set up a new opportunity fast.
