So, I was at McDonalds and this HB7.5 was working behind the counter taking my friends order. I made quick eye contact with her and the way I looked in her eyes was that I had a thought in my head that she was yummy and wanted to eat her like a cake. She started to lick her lips then take Dave's order.

Dave got me a McChicken but it wasn't ready yet. So, the girl handed him his tray and Dave sat down. I waited there and the HB7.5 handed me my McChicken and told me:

HB: Okay baby, be careful and don't burn your tounge, it's really hot baby!

I smiled and said okay and walked to my seat with dave and told him about it. Dave told me that I should holla at her.

So, after I was done eating I noticed her looking at me and I headed up to her and said.

STEALTH: When you get off of work? We could get a drink!
HB: I already made plans with my friends (Points to a bunch of friends sitting outside).
STEALTH:It's cool then..

I don't get it - the signs were there weren't there? Maybe I read too much? I don't know! Should I believe her? She did sit out with her friends when we walked out to our car to go on the investigation. What should I've done differently?

Thats it? You gave up there?... Ok she has plans with friends tonight, obviously she wasnt blowing you off because they were right there. Why didnt you continue you and be like, well... too bad, could of been a good time... i was just planning on taking you out to dinner, get a macdonalds or something ))

I don't know why I gave up really easily. Next time I won't though.

yeah i agree with whysoskinny she was clearly interested and if you pursued it you could have definitly got something.

also maybe instead of going for the instant date why not simply try to number close ? then you can take a step back and assess the situation.
