Usually it's applied to opinion openers where their job is to hook the girl with a bait. It could happen that you start a conversation with one opener and once the conversation dies (you got nothing more to say), you use the second opener.
For example,
"Any ideas what I should buy my sis to her bday?"
bla bla bla
(after 2min conversation died)
"btw, you're a girl.. i got a friend, david, who insisted splitting the bill 50% / 50% on the date with the girl and she completely shut off.. what do you think? does the man have to pay for the first date?"
I personally don't use opinion openers and don't stack them
