reading that book make it seem that college is all about social dynamics which I agree

BUT it makes it seem like us commuters who some cant afford a dorm have no chance, so what should a commuter do?

I dont live on campus so I dont have alot of friends at school and no social proof. Idk what to do?

Im trying to join clubs and stuff
