If you think she will be organizing something for her birthday you can get her something. If not you can ask her out and give her a good time.

IMO its not a good idea to wait for her to contact you.

I'm in the same situation. I have a class with this girl. I see her once a week. I'm not really gaming her because she has a bf but we flirt a lot. I'm getting her a birthday card and some pocket-shots. Im gonna make her take a shot with me during class LOL
