Today I went to my first college bar night, i was there for about 2 hours (i have class at 9:30am the next day. I got into the bar and it was a neon theme so there was highlighters being passed around, i tried to be friendly and lively so i drew on some people and they drew on me but...
as it progressed i found it harder to socialize, all that i was doing was dancing, thats all anybody was doing but i didnt know more than half the people so is there a good way to meet some people when dancing in a bar where the music is too loud to talk?
im thinking about staying away from those bars until i can build up a social group and go with that group so i dont have to introduce myself to too many people in such an awkward way. is it better to just stay away from that type of situation?i need some advice about this please

You should go with at least one person. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Make your goal for the night to 'have fun.'

well i went with my older brother and he introduced me to a bunch of people, and it was great and i had a good time. but it got kinda boring and i just stopped having a good time. i guess i couldnt take the loud music with most of the socializing being from dancing instead of talking.
bleh, feel like a fucking mess from tonight

It is natural to get tired, it happens to me too, I call it burnt out, after like an hour or two you just get tired/bored, it is a combination of music, drunk people, screaming your lungs out because the music is so loud etc.

I like a post made by Sinn which you probably can relate to: http://sinnsofattraction.blogspot.com/2 ... eople.html

It talks about that if women did not go to clubs or bars 99% of guys wouldn't go to the clubs/bars, why because only like 1% goes to the club specifically to dance and enjoy the club SPAM....
