OKC is my first attempt at online sarging - I haven't tried anywhere else. In the UK it's pretty low profile and I felt it would be a good place to hone my technique before, maybe (if I decide to carry on with online game...) going to a larger site.
The 2 things I like about OKC are the fact that, firstly, it has quite an artsy crowd (I dig arty chicks), and the Quick Match feature seems really cool.
QM works like this: you rate a procession of girls out of 5 stars. They then rate a procession of guys, including your profile, out of 5. If you both award each other 4 or 5 stars, you both get an email saying 'you both rate each other, why not make contact'. I think this is a good way to test the water before cold-messaging a girl. I don't use it as gospel, and - because you don't know if she plays QM, or whether she rated you below 4-stars (it only tells you if you have 4+ stars - it'd be kind of depressing if you got emailed to tell you she gave you 1 star!), I still message them if they don't rate me @ 4/5 stars.
Anyway... I get 4/5 stars from nice looking girls regularly, yet they don't respond when I message them... I keep my messages strictly small. I usually quote a line from their profile, and try and start a conversation along those lines - either that or a joke. I never use generic lines.
So... are these girls just yanking my chain? I wonder if they're giving me high marks just to see if I reciprocate...
I've had chats with a few girls that I rated 4/5 out of the blue, and they've said they don't play QM. Is QM just fraught with bullshit, so people just avoid it?
Also, is there anyone else here in the UK that's had a result on OKC? Is it pretty small compared to the other sites in the UK? I know it's big stateside, but it seems kind of niche in the UK.
