New York. Why? I've never been, but I hear it's like . . . the center of the universe. I've always wanted to go but haven't had the opportunity. I buy into all the hype I hear and read about it, and I have a long list of to-do's when or if I'm ever able to go: see a Broadway show (preferably Phantom), eat at fancy resturants every day, have lots sex in a high suite of some skyrise hotel with the curtains open viewing out on that twinkling neo cityscape, venture to the top of the Empire State Building and then walk Times Sqare at midnight. What do you think?

Wait a couple days to respond or do it later today? I'm thinking wait a couple of days, since she's easily a 9, more than likely a 10. Any advice?

So here's the whole shebang for you guys (a little long, but worth the read):

Wait, I know! I could list out interrogation questions! Ask you things like what you do for fun? Or maybe something really deep... something like, "so where are you from?" You'd swoon, realizing that I care about where you are from and thus 'where you're coming from'. You'd get "all a flush" at my wit, right?

Oh, I know! I could just delete all of this and type "Hey wazzup? Saw your profile. Ur cute! Hit me back and we can chat!" That would probably work best. I mean, that's what everyone does right? So it MUST work! Shouldn't it?

How about instead, I do this. I am intrigued by your profile, and think it could be worthwhile to find out more about you. You know, talk, and answer those age old questions, like:

Is she a total basket case in hiding?
Will I fall asleep sitting next to her when we hang out?
and the most important question of all...
Is she just a guy with fake pictures, pretending to be a girl?

New York, huh? I really thought you'd say someplace like the Bahamas or Mexico. I can already tell you're gonna be trouble, you picked my favorite city.
Ok. So, we're on our roadtrip to NY. You're driving so I can sleep the whole way and no, we aren't listening to your music. So you better like Taking Back Sunday and Lady Gaga, or else. Do we drive with the windows down, since it's nice and breezy, or are we rollin' with the AC on? Although, I'm sure you'd look kind of cute with your hair blowing in the proverbial breeze...Or maybe it would just get messy.
Once we get reach the Big Apple, you'll get me one of those cute "I "heart" NY" tee shirts and we'll go see the "Phantom of the Opera", whom by the way, I was for Halloween last year. It was awesome. But anyway!
So we're walking down Broadway after the show back to that high rise hotel suite and I take you by the hand and out to the balcony and pour you a glass of your favorite wine and we order room service from the 5 star restaurant in the Hotel. We look out at that twinkling neo cityscape, see the Manhattan bridge, see the lights, hear the noises and the traffic. We can feel the breeze blowing just slightly and it's the perfect time for you to steal a kiss; It's passionate and soft.
We make our way into a cab, on our way to Times Square. We're in our best dressed and we're giggly from the wine and the fantastic stories we've been swapping back and forth all night. I take you by the hand and lead you down into Times Square where there's reverberated city noise, beautifully vivid lights, and you and me. We walk. We laugh. We go, hand in hand, exploring every shop to our heart's content, my arm around you and your head on my shoulder.
I would love to tell you about how the night went once we got back to that hotel suite, but I don't wanna give you any ideas.
So what do I think? I think New York was a horrible idea! Look at what will happen! We'll have too much fun, too much kissing, too much hand holding and hugging, and you'll get all cozy and comfortable with me. Sounds awful!

i think online, you shouldn't wait, because they move on too quick. you know how many emails she gets everyday! if you ignore too long, then respond, she has been so busy deleting looser emails that she forgot about you completely. there is no sense of loss or anticipation for her while waiting on you to reply. just my 2 cents

i've also recently learned to "escalate escalate escalate." that's what alpha males do, and the women respond. get the number ASAP. much better to ask too soon than to ask too late!

Find: Thanks. I actually wound up writing her pretty soon after he initial response. I responded to her other response today, since she wrote today as well. I'm still playing off what I had written about NYC and sex and making out and it's working, so I'm trying to meet her on Friday since I'll be downtown anyway. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.
