So, I am basically a foreign collge student in the USA. I had gone back to my home country for the entire summers. I came back last week and the following night decided to head out to a bar downtown with a friend and my friend's friend ( was my first time hanging out with this guy ).

This particular night I was not looking to chat up any girls but just looking to have a beer or two, chill with my mate and ease back into the bar scene. So, I walk up to the bar to get a beer and the bartender ( HB 7.5 ) strike up a conversation with me. She asks me where I am from and what do I do. Our conversation is cut short as she has to attend to some other customer. I do think that she is somewhat interested in me and decide that I would try to get her number later on once she is not surrounded by customers.

So, I return to where my friends are seated and start catching up with my friend. My friend's friend has just moved to the USA from some middle eastern country and turns out he hasn't had hard liquor before. So I get him a couple of shots of tequila while telling him it was vodka ( my friend played along ). The rest of the night passed by as I saw this get wasted for the first time in his life and make a fool of himself.

As we approached closing time, I decided to go look around for the bartender and try to get her number. But I couldn't locate her. Then I saw this pretty blonde (HB 8 ) sitting by herself in a corner. I had seen her sitting there even an hour or so ago while I was getting a drink. So I decided to approach her and our conversation went something like this :-

Me: Hey, I am .....

HB 8 : Hi, my name is .......

Me : So I have actually been trying to talk to you ever since I walked in here. I was kinda shy at first but now that this place is about to close thought I might as well.

HB 8: Well even I noticed you walk in.

Me: Really ?

HB 8 : Yeah. Do you want to go out for a smoke ?

Me: I don't smoke but I can sure give you company.

We walk out

Me: So what made you notice me ?

HB 8: Why wouldn't I ? You are beautiful.

Me: I know

HB 8: and you are cocky.

I start laughing..

Me: No, it is just that I hear that a lot.

HB 8: I am guessing you get a lot of girls.

Me: Keep guessing.

She laughs

HB 8 : So where are you from ?

Me: ..............

HB 8: What made you come out here ?

Me: I came here to attend college. What do you do ?

HB 8: I am a stripper. I work at ( mentions the local strip joint ).

Me: Cool.

HB 8: Do you go to stip clubs ?

Me: Not a lot. Only been there a couple of times in the last year.

HB 8: Well you should come by this Saturday night. I will be there.

Me: I will if I get time. Anyway, my friends are waiting for me, so I need to take off. Can I have your number ?

HB 8 : No because I have a boyfriend and he keeps a check on my phone. But come meet me Saturday night when I am working.

Me: I will see. Can I get a kiss to remember you by ?

HB 8: I guess

And we make out for about two minutes. Then she stopped saying her bf was supposed to come pick her up and she didn't want him to see us kissing. So I said goodbye and got a ride home with my friend.

I did not end up going to the strip club Saturday night, although I did give it some thought.

Hopefully she wasn't just trying to drum up some business...??

Otherwise good job, though I probably wouldn't follow it up if it was me.

Yeah I don't think I am going to follow it up either. Had she given me her number, it would have been a different situation but I don't think I am desparate enough to go to a strip club specifically for her sake.

That said, I would definitely want to go to that bar again to check up on the bartender. But what are the odds she wasn't trying up some business as well...

Nah there is a whole approach to bar chicks that I saw a PUA come up with, I think it may have been Ross Jeffries (heaps into his stuff lately) so I will try to look up the video and post it here. Its entirely possible that I saw it in a post on these forums too.

It goes something along the lines of telling the bar chick how their jobs must be a bit lonely considering that they see all these people all night but then they dont get to know any of them. So the whole relationship is just them selling people a product. Then say something like, there would be no point for someone to even ask out a bar chick out because she would always remember him as that guy who she serves at the bar. Then you say, so I would never even try to ask you for your number. At this stage the bar chick will intially agree but then try to argue the point with you.

I can't remember if theres a bit more to it then that but I'll look into it and see if I can find it man but you get the general idea.

it looks like the bartender was just making small talk, i doesnt look like there was any special interest besides doing her job. but i think if you would have taken control of the situation at that point. you might have had yourself a situation if you asked her unexpected questions or showed that you were not like the others and showed more value then there might have been a chance but now she was just a bartender and you were just the customer. the second point is i dont think its a good idea to treat your friend like that and feed him drunk, i wouldnt like my friends to do that with me i would pick new friends. thirdly the hb8 seemed like a nice conversation, maybe you should have used a boyfriend destroyer but you f-closed which was nice.

Pffffttttt don't listen to this advise!! If someone is gonna get me drunk, thats the sign of a good mate!! I love getting drunk with my friends. Its everybodies own choice what they consume so party on =D

thats the thing, he wasnt being honest to his friend and lied about what he gave him. if the friend wants to get drunk hes free to do it, but that was not the case

lol vodka, tequila, same same man. If your doing shots, regardless of what is in them it means you wanna get drunk.
