I know this girl who works in the mall. I got her number yesterday.
I wanted to talk to her asap because she is leaving for vacation in 6 days.
So I texted her
" I was just in the bank. Made me think of you. Tellers have to deal with some crazy customers"
I got a response about her crazy customer of the day
We texted back and forth a couple of times.
I ended it by saying
" hey, I have to leave, I'm in a softball tournament tonight, I will call you later"
No response to the text
I call after the game, 2 hrs later, and no answer. I leave a message. Very short. "Its Matt, call back when you get a chance" and no call back......yet.. its been 2 hrs.
Question is: what's my next move? Text her tomorrow or the next day? Or just delete the number and move on? Any advice would be helpful.

Maybe she was busy just like you when you were at your softball game. Just let it be for now and wait it out for a day, she'll call or atleast text you.

I'd like to point out couple things here.
- When you said you have to leave to do something, it's best to make it seem like you would be busy for the rest of the day. Don't resume the conversation/flirting. What I usually do is tell her i'll call/txt her back then don't do it at all, it makes her anticipate it.
- Keep a playful/flirty attitude on txting.
- You just got her number yesterday, you already started texting her today and even call her, asking her to call you back ---> appear as needy in her view.

- It has only been 2 hrs, just chill, for some reason nowadays girls are more reluctant to stay on the phone, they refer texting more. If she doesn't pick up the phone, it might be the case. Happened to me before.

Thanks for the input. Your right about the afc moments. I wont text her for awhile now. I've gotta work on my phone/text game. I need practice. This is definitely a learning experience.

Patience my friend. That is the key. There could be 10 thousand reasons as to why the chick didn't call you back. All you have to do is keep your calm, act as though you have another 50 women to go to anytime (I said "act") and wait for her response. If she doesn't respond, you move on.
