I guess the title is a tad misleading but i wanted your attention


Theres this girl, HB8 at least and shes playing real hard to get. Although she might be a HB8, she has a great personality and fun to be around.

We kind of have a strange relationship, we are friendly enough to eachother yet we pay eachother out mostly for fun.

I sent her a text a few hours back:

ME: Hows my favourite little brat doing?
HB: Im dying from all the study of history!
ME: Naw wouldnt want you dying on me not when we still gotta see that movie

Obviously my text message wasnt that great since she hasnt replied back :/

What my real question is though, how do you deal with a HB playing hard to get? Freeze her out? How do you deal with it?

As for the text about the movie, i am probably seeing her Saturday for a movie so any help would be appreciated.

Hmm this sort of thing is common.
I dunno either she doesnt want to go, or shes purposely trying to show disinterest.
I'm not sure if others would agree, but Id probably take a step back, to punish her lack of enthusiasm.

Calling her little brat is a good move.

This is almost completely negated by going to see a movie, which is one of the worst day2s ever. You can't talk!

How long have you been seeing her? If it's been more than a couple of weeks and you still haven't gotten a proper day2 in you've probably lost momentum and she's losing interest. This is the time to invite her to something actually fun and a bit different. Be original!

When you're dealing with HB8 and above, I believe unless you have loads and loads of money to throw around or unless you happen to be Brad Pitt's twin, the best way to go is to be natural. What I mean is, no indirect shots here and there. They're all used to that kind of attention. .
I call that an indirect shot. With HB8+, you have to be confident enough and direct. Either she'll reply in a yes or a no, but she'll most likely reply. The problem with the indirect approach is that the HB thinks the ball is in her court completely, that you're one of those other 99976546 guys who're flat for her and whom she takes lightly. You simply end up looking silly.

P.s: Blondguy makes a very good point. Ask her out for a coffee instead.
