I wasn’t sure if this is the correct forum room to post my question, if not let me know where it would be more suitably posted. I also appreciate this isn’t the typical PUA approach to dating and seduction.]
I tend to have no problem approaching and closing on women in nightclubs (although I’m almost always drunk and with a group of friends). But I have very little/no experience with girlfriends for various reasons.
I recently met a girl through a part time job I’m working between university (college) years and she happens to go to the same university as me ~100 miles away. I really really like her and think she may feel the same, we have so much in common its untrue but there are several barriers that prevent me from making any sort of move on her while I’m at work. Almost every time I work with her she is with her best friend (who also works there and has a long term boyfriend), one of the bartenders “claimed” her as his (I have never seen her show a interest in him and he’s a bit of a meathead jock so I don’t feel bad for him) and she has also just come out of a long term relationship (which makes me think she might have a lot of doubts going into another relationship). With all this in mind I have been taking it casually and keeping conversations light and trying to keep her interested.
We both finish in roughly 3 weeks before going back to study at university in the middle of September. my plan is to catch her after a lecture walking home (I live in the same direction as her) have some light conversation, throw in some compliments, ask her if she is up to anything for the rest of the day, then ask her if she wants to get some coffee at the Starbucks we will walk past. Hopefully everything can flow from that point and I can ask her on a date for later that week.
To me the plan seems almost flawless but I want to know your opinions. I’m very much a beginner with low experience on asking a girl on a date and any constructive feedback or support is appreciated.
