Does anyone work in the film industry or an occupation that creates a similar working dynamic?

I ask this because I do. I work as a camera assistant and its an all together different ball 'game'. I know this job has the potential to be very rewarding sexually.

The paradigm I work in is that people develop affectionate acquaintances. I am on location shooting a lot and I stay in hotels together with people I see all day. I have good rapport with almost everyone on most jobs. I flirt with the girls and build good connections, however I have not been fortunate to transcend that.

To be honest I tease and neg the shit out of girls. That is my basic strategy and it works in the sense that they like me and feel comfortable around me. The I don't think I escalate enough ( bearing in mind this is when we are working so some sort of decorum has to prevail). Usually other girls see that I am preselected and they come up to me and start chatting.

The girls normally add me on Facebook and some I chat with and try and meet up with but to no avail just yet. I think in person I do well but I don't close and then just fuck it up with facebook an emails.

Any ideas or help with 'Film Game'?

Mckinnon, I am a filmmaker, but I have found that it hasn't really been an advantage to me in my city. Except once, but I will get to that.

I am new to PUA and to being single, and I have hooked up with two girls in the past couple of months while learning. Both knew of my job and my passion, but I think they were just attracted to the passion. As an artist we have the ability to see women differently then other guys might. That can be good or bad depending on the girl IMHO.

That said...

I met a girl in a bar last week who was from LA, she happened to be visiting a friend in my MN town... what are the chances? I kiss closed her in 3 minutes and the main reason is because she asked me what I did and she freaked out when I said I was a filmmaker. I hooked up with her 3 nights before she went back to LA.

It was one of those things where we were able to connect on that level instantly and there was no politics involved because we were operating out of different scenes. Of course I still used all of the other PUA techniques throughout the night to close her, and it was pretty challenging, i was proud of myself for sticking to the plan, and by all means she didn't jump me, i had to escalate, etc.

I think that idea of connecting on an artistic level with a girl can be used to our advantage and I have been keeping my eye out for photographers and painters now

Keep in touch man, I think you are onto a good concept here, lets hone it.

PS. I sort of get intimidated by artistic girls, I know I need to get over that, but It must be some weird thing from college or something... Maybe its because its hard to know if they will be pretentious or not and I don't do well with pretentious people.
