If that's a style you want to get comfortable with then it definitely is worth it. Accessories are the easiest way to peacock, and can really make an outfit look quite stylish if you've put some thought into it. The only danger is that if you overdo it then you can risk making yourself look like a character or like you're trying too hard; both of which will lower your value.

Wear something that YOU feel good in. A confident guy with regular jeans and a t-shirt is far more likely to pick up a girl than a visibly self-conscious guy wearing an expensive armani suit.
