K, so I took a girl on a 1st date (movie date) and it seemed like everything was going great. She smiled and laughed a lot, and it seemed like she was having a good time. I made several advancements on her. I had my arm around her, we basically held hands the whole time, kissed a few times (But she seemed a little more reluctant to that one, cuz she kept telling me to "watch the movie"). Afterward we walked around and she talked a lot, but she consistently made comments about how I should talk more. (I'm not nearly as talkative as her)

Then after I got home, we IM'ed and she said that she "didn't feel like we clicked." She also said "When we held hands, it felt uncomfortable. It wasn't you. It just felt not right. And when we kissed, it felt rushed and not perfect."

So help me out here fellas. What went wrong?

Okay a few questions:

1) How was your body language?

2) How was your tonality?

3) Did you make the advances smoothly?

1) I was relaxed the whole time. Very spread out.

2) Tonality in relation to how I talked to her? I kept it kind of suggestive-sounding, relaxed, and I teased her a little.

3) Yeah they were smooth. In fact, I turned it around so that she made the advancements instead. For example to hold her hand, I said this in a slightly sarcastic manner after she told me something, "Poor you. Do you want me to hold your hand?" I moved my hand over, and she took it herself. And then again with putting my arm around her, I asked in a suggestive way, "Are you sure you're comfortable sitting like that? Or would you like to get closer?" And then she just leaned over on me, which cued the arm.

The ONLY thing that she seemed reluctant about was the kissing advancement. I would turn to her, but she'd usually say "watch the movie." I'd usually have to turn her on a little bit in other ways, to get a kiss out of her.

Hmm its hard to know since I wasn't there, but maybe you weren't high energy enough.

Movies are also not good for a first date - it can create a lot of awkardness. I would have taken her to a bar or something.

I have a feeling you didn't do as well as you thought. In my experience, simply make advances without warning. Don't even imply it - just do it if it 'feels' right.

At the end of the day, she may just be a bad person to game.

See the bold part. That is what went wrong. Movie dates are the worst for a first date. As you spend two hours next to someone without getting to know them. Which is why the girl said she felt uncomfortable when the two of you where holding hands. She didn't get a chance to know you.

That's very possible. But there's a reason why I thought that all the advancements would be no problem to her... last week we were texting for a whole night (really dirty stuff) and I MAJORLY turned her on. She was already texing stuff like "Let me know whenever I can come over to your place. I want you so bad baby!" And she even explicitly told me what she'd do. So fastforward to the theater, and I thought that holding hands, kissing, ect. would be no big deal. I even went a little further with walking my fingers down around her waist, but every time she she would move my hand back into her hand. I didn't take it wrongly at the time. I just made a joke out of it, saying that "sometimes you can't control the spider." That got her giggling every time. But even when I kept persisting, I got the same outcome.

So did I basically just move too fast? Or something else?

Read my other latest reply. I made plenty of advancements, so I'm not sure if this annoyed her or not. I never let it bring down my mood when she'd say "stop" or "watch the movie," cuz I'd always make her smile right after, and it seemed like it was fun to her. So I'm confused about what I did wrong.
