Those are all really good things to add to your room, but what would be the icing on the cake a projector to play everything and watch the movies. The room would have to be very dark so when you start to make out with them it will be so much easier to get them to sleep with you opposed to having the bright lcd or plasma shining back or the possibility of having the lights on while you begin to watch the movies.

Another thing is if your room doesn't have a carpet GET ONE. No one wants to walk around on a cold floor especially after getting laid. Plus it will give you more options to where you want her.

The key to success in college is having somewhere to go. I would honestly suggest joing a Fraternity. If you want to meet the majority of girls on campus than that's the way to do it. Dorm parties are more for pre-gaming. You want to begin the fun there, take the fun to a big party and then bring it all back to your dorm for the fun later. Trust me on that one brother. That's what I've done... People who hate on Fraternities are more or less envious of the pussy they pull.

I am in a fraternity, and so I have some experience in that regard that I can offer if you decide to go that route.

1. Keep a zero-tolerance policy on hazing. I've seen it happen to friends and I am not a fan. When I rushed I made a policy that if anyone put their hands on me or abused me in any way I would walk out the door, even if I had one night left of pledging. I can proudly state that I was not hazed, but some people still believe that the best way to make men bond is through suffering.

2. You still have to be social, even if you join organizations. A fraternity, club, etc won't make you social, it'll just give you opportunities to meet more people. It's not a cure for anxiety, that still can only be helped with practice. No girl is gonna just fuck you because you're wearing a shirt with Greek letters on it. It's a different form of peacocking to have letters, and it can start a conversation. But it's only good for that (and a bit of DHV).

3. I posted this in another thread, but you can hit the ground running from a social perspective by simply leaving your door open while you are in the room. The first few days people will walk around the dorms in order to become acclimated to their surroundings, and if someone's exploring, invite them in and introduce yourself. You don't need to make best friends, but even knowing a lot of people will create the perception that you have a large social circle.

So true. And do a bit of exploring yourself while you're at it. The first week or two is fair game to walk up to any open door and start a conversation without it seeming creepy.

And of course, the first day, make it a point to introduce yourself to everyone on your floor. This is your home base and from here you can get invited to parties that other people know about.

i also played the game apples to apples for the first time...damn its actually really fun. and easy to turn it into a drinking game

i cant base everything off of alchohal...im on a sports team i dont wanna get booted for that shit. and like i said before, i have no need for a frat, this team is seriously the best sports team on compus and frats arnt super popular at this school, so im in the inn already i just wanna make it a good start. apples to apples though...damn im buying that for my dorm hahaha
