I would disagree with KristallNachte about a conscious IOI automatically being an SOI. In Mystery's Microcalibration theory, he says that you need to monitor not only HER IOIs and IODs, but your own too.
For example, at a party at my house, one of my friends had the following interaction with a girl (HB9)
Him: Neg
Her: Roll off, Cross Arms
Him: Neg
Her: Gets up and walks away
What he could have done is some of Gambler's Tongue in Cheek Romanticism:
Him: Neg
Her: Roll off, Cross Arms
Him: Big hug "aww, you know you're the only one for me!"
Her: Laugh, Hug him back
See, in the first example, he was not watching his own IOIs and IODs, and drove her off; however, in the second example, he notices her arms crossing, and her roll-off and reacts by throwing in an over-exaggerated IOI (that he obviously doesn't mean literally: he doesn't love her or anything) which brings her back in.
Here's a short list of common IOIs you can monitor as you give them:
your feet/hips pointing towards her,
your muscles tensing (they subconsciously notice),
kino,
creating rapport (agreeing with her),
tongue in cheek romanticism,
proximity,
helping her rather than someone else (in a school or work environment),
leaning in,
et c.
If I were you, I would make an effort to be conscious of every IOI and IOD I give, and when to give them; it seems to help me (and Mystery, seeing as he thought of it).
