Usually when I approach girls, I don't want to show all my assets, since I don't want to attract golddiggers. So once in a while I drop the hint that I'm not the richest guy in town. Furthermore I portray myself as a guy who's not perfect (which is true) and got failures (which is true as well), simply bc I want to attract low maintainance women.

But I do wonder whether I would scare away the normal women, too. Since women are programmed to select the most productive and succesful male.

So if I portray myself with failures and not super duper rich, I would surely scare the golddiggers away with my strategy (which I want) but I think I would scare away the normal/ sane women, who's looking for a succesful male, too.

I think that's kind a dilemma for me. What dou you think about my strategy? What should I do differently? Or am I overlooking something here? What's your typical BASIC approach to women?
