Hello, i am 17, and to be honest with everyone, am very shy as far as the approach goes. After a certain point, I can become comfortable, but any tips on breaking the intense awkwardness when first approaching a girl would be greatly appreciated.

I began my search for pu knowledge less than a month ago when i decided that I was getting sick of watching people in my grade hit on the girls I liked......

and my attempts to excessive complimenting obviously have a negative effect as Ive begun to realize.

3 second rule.

See a group of girls, dont think about it, just go up and open. Its helped me.

Practice that and I think eventualy the AA will dull down. If you talk to alot of people in general, not just girls that will help to. I started 2 weeks ago and I feel like Im a diffrent person already. And It can only get better from here bro.

first of all, the three second rule seems to me to be pretty much the answer to my over thinking problem, yet i used think that the only way i could open a group is if i have something thought of specifically for them.

so if you're using the three second rule with a group, you must be improvising to some degree?

A little bit, but I open with canned openers. You should only have to improvise a little if you have a routine down. If not, you will have to improvise much more.

Next time before you go out, practice saying like 3-4 openers. Next time you see a set, open with one of those and see how well it goes. If you get rejected or the conversation dies down, dont feel bad. Its actualy an amazing feeling to see that you can actualy just go up and start a conversation with any girl, or anyone really.

Just start conversations for now, try to get them to go somewhere but if they dont, dont feel bad. We are just starting out.

Honestly I tried game last night it was a disaster crash burn night.
but what the hell for the first time in my life I spoke to random people..
I mostly opened Dude groups and that was real fun.
The climax was when i actually opened a group of 3 chicks.
they were actually interested in me just because i wanted them to be.
I was so amazed it made me act creepy silence AFC and then I blew it!

Point is were on the same scale bro I'm also 17 and AFC

i had the same exact experience last night. I realized how hard it is to walk up to random people. and I am proud to say, that I walked up to three sets (two of them were just one person). I had to quite literally force myself to.
nonetheless, two sets i opened were girls. had an awful pick up line, and I ended up slipping away awkwardly after a line or two. but there has been no feeling of accomplishment like that.

I assume that opening sets can only get easier. at least it cant get any harder than that was. but i will admit that the third one was significantly easier than the first.
