Hey guys

close to forty and recently divorced, I have decided to change my life and this looks like a place with much knowledge about getting the most out of life.

I have been married for the past 10 years with a great woman, but unfortunately not one that I really felt very attracted to sexually. At least not the past 3-4 years. I know that sounds lame, cuz why did I stay then? There are several reasons, fear of being alone is one, and having kids also make alot of people (me included) come up with a lot of excuses for not leaving, and ways of disregarding their true desires. And in the end, for me at least, I had made so many compromises (or perhaps more accurately, sacrifices as to what I wanted) that I had no idea what I wanted. I only knew I was miserable.

Now at my age I cant really go sarging in the normal places (and I wouldnt have the guts to do so), so what am I doing here? Well, A month ago I had never heard of the PU-community. A friend introduced my to The Game (seems like every1's read it in here ), and after reading it, I searched the web for more info and found this forum and started reading alot of great posts.
I don't think I will ever be able to do the Mystery/Style stuff, but getting less approach anxiety and improving my inner game is, hopefully, more realistic. I hope to get better at actually pursuing the women I find interesting, not just to settle (again) for the ones, that pick me up :p

I hope i'm not the only person here, who's in his late 30's.....but even if I were, I am not too proud to learn from people a lot younger than myself.
