This is the introduce yourself forum, so perhaps I should pause and do just that. My handle isn't (just) a reference to the chemistry between men and women or to sexual chemistry specifically, I am a chemist professionally. As a fully indoctrinated member of the scientific community the idea of applying scientific methodologies to seducing women seems natural and I've been quickly assimilating the information I've been exposed to. I want to make something clear, and within this is my warning. I haven't been learning, I haven't been memorizing, I've been assimilating. I've been collecting and synthesizing information. Remember the line from one of the early chapters in the game: "Don't do what everyone else is doing. Ever."
As the PUA community grows the likelihood of someone else running the exact same game as you grows as well, assuming that you're only running the game(s) you've read about other people running. At this early stage in my introduction to the community I feel that the most important message to hold onto is to use this amazing body of information to develop your own individual and unique game. Don't get caught up in what is the "better" method, examine and consider everything you can, experiment, and alter your game as seems appropriate.
In the end it's the as-of-yet unveiled pragmatic answer that should be driving the ways in which you are changing yourself. Is there a right and wrong way to seduce women? If you're getting what you want than you're using the right game, otherwise you're still doing something wrong. Beyond that there really is no "right or wrong."
My friend, you are absolutely correct. How did the world-class MPUAs, and pioneers of the lifestyle become so famous, infamous, and ultimately successful? They invented the game for themselves. Absorbing all of the information, techniques, attitudes, acronyms, tips & tricks, etc. Is absolutely crucial to learning The Game, becoming a Pickup Artist. But in order to truly become a master, a true artist, one must paint all of that knowledge into their own masterpiece. Thanks a ton for this incredibly helpful post Ch3mist!
