hi everybody, ive known about negging for quite a while but new to this forum. I need some help here, i want to know if what im doing is right. Heres the story. ive known this girl (lets call her X) since high school but only talked to her last year or so of high school ( but this was just the occasional talk in class). Back in high school ( im at uni/college now), i liked one of her friends whom i was really close friends with. X kinda helped me through to asking this friend out but i was rejected. I also helped X get through a guy asking her out by giving her some advice. Then uni came and we went to separate unis. At her uni, she was negged by some guy (i dont know if the guy did it intentionally or was just being playful) but i kinda told her about negging, so she lost interest in that guy( i did not have interest in her at this point yet). We had a few meetups after this in high school groups and it wasnt until our recent meetup( with not only her but a few other high school friends) that i developed something for her( so i tried to play "the game"). During our convo i noticed she was wearing contracts and said "why does everyone have to copy me" although she previously told me about them. Also she mentioned she didnt like my uni/college ( because all her friends are there) so i said she a typical person from her uni trying to b prestigious ( her uni is slightly more presitgious than mine). She told me it was a fact but i told her it was only her opinion. She said that i should now that people are entitled to their opition and high fived me. ( ive fun-argued with her quite a bit prior to this).

so bottom line, i want to know if what im doing is right and if not how can i fix it?
i would also like to know what should i do next ( i only have contact with her through email or phone). BTW she has on previous occasions asked a guy out, so if i do things right, it could turn out good.
