It is only a DLV if YOU let it be. By this I mean it depends on how you say you are a virgin. If you put a negative ton on it, then its going to be a DLV, but if you are okay with it and are cool with it then its not a DLV and may be even taken as DHV.

I think it also depends on the girls, but most of the time, the psychological effect of saying you're a virgin ease them up. Most of the girls dont put out also because they afraid of random hook up and STDs from it. In other word, she will see you as potential guy to have sex with at the end of the night. I don't agree with the posters here. I think admitting you are a virgin is a big DLV unless you can say that you had many girlfriends in the past but you decided to lose virginity if you find that special girl you want to marry.
