Yea, only me and my best friend (My wingman) are the only one's I know who know about it. But I've had friends ask me about the show, to see if I watched it or thought it worked. I usually just played dumb, and was like "Yea, I've heard about it, and all they do is just turn guys into metrosexuals, right?" or "Nope, never heard of it."

Haha... well, Style did write a bestselling book exposing a lot of shit. So I wouldn't say that Style just cares nothing about money, but that's beside the point
the game is there for selfimprovement and is good for anyone to read in general on boosting ones-self to a higher plane of living.

i also agree this shouldnt affect your game at all, if mystery wants to go and do that for profit let him, just remember these 2 things

"what goes up, must come down"
"for every action there is a equal reaction"

I at first when i heard about thought "o i cant believe hes doing this." But as i watched the show. He used very few openers and routines. He showcased the Mystery Method and the logic behind it, BUT he did not give away alot of materail at all. They use the same openers and routines OVER and OVER again. I also think by having all paid actors (whethor thats real or whatever) He smoked screened all of his fellow PUAs. Lots of people think reality tvs fake already. Now thats its being released that it was all fake i doubt people will start getting suspuice because most people (like i used to sadly) thought this is not possibly, Its not that easy, etc... etc... Yes Mystery made money off it but i dont think he sold everyone in the community out. Hey you never know mabey it will end up helping us some how (i have no clue how but that sounded good and who knows mabey it will).

Everything on TV's a fraud or staged these days in some way..

Live TV's a lost art. So is integrity.

I mean have you ever seen one of the CNN or Fox anchors try to cover a live event? Makes you think they've spent most of their life in a closet or something, because they don't know jack.

It's become alot like politics. Just a means to show more commercials, con you out of more of your money, control you, etc.. And as long as the consuming public votes with their TV switcher or their hangin' chad thinking somethings is really going to change this stuff will continue.

Look nobody needed Mystery in the old days. In reality you don't need him today. Except perhaps as a manner of navigating this FU reality we call modern social interaction between people in this increasingly exploitative, greedy and paranoid social environment. An environment where every bodies gotta eat. Writing books and telling people how to do the obvious is one way to keep from having to shovel shyt for a living.

Nothing wrong with learning about women, what they want and what makes them tick. But if you aren't being who you are and acting with honesty and integrity you're not being slick. You're just being another asshole that's part of the problem.

Yeah I believe that I actually was around in Key West when they were taping the Real World their about two years ago. They did the same stuff...If you believe that's real your a fool. I know the real world guys would go around asking people to start shit with the real world cast in the club for entertainment.

Think of it this way: Mystery does bootcamps for guys and in 3 days he is able to get guys improved enough to number close and sometimes even f-close girls. These guys were on a show that took place over 8 weeks supposedly. With that much teaching, he could turn just about anyone into a decent PUA if they are interested in learning it. How do you slow that progression down and make it into an interesting show that people actually believe? If people saw how well pick up actually works, they would say its all fake. Answer: actors. This enables you to have them act like they are totally AFC and still look real. This also allows you to have an entertaining show that will introduce people into pick up, which has never been something that people were trying to stop, because that's how these guys make their livings. I think he did a brilliant job of not giving too much away, while still letting new blood into the game and making an entertaining show. I don't think any reality tv show is real, but I may watch one if it has a decent enough concept behind it and this one does, so I would watch it even if I had known from the beginning. How many of you only got into it because of this show and now are mad that he gave stuff away (really newbie stuff too).

ahahah I did the same thing. I was at my friends f buddy house and she had friends over and we were just watching tv and they put the show on and we were like what this and asking how much they knew about it and just mocked it till they changed it.

It's reality TV. If anyone thought that the show was actually real.....well I feel sorry for them. They have reshoots just like movies for crying out loud. I still watched the show for entertainment though. It hasn't in anyway affected my game, but then again I've never used anything on the show. As far as making "The Game" into a movie, it already has been made in different variations and it's never affected anything within the community. Now that you've been in the community for a while go back and watch movies like 'Hitch', 'The Tao of Steve', 'Swingers' and a number of other movies. They use the same techniques in that movie PUAs use......and women still don't know any better.

LMFAO!!! SO GOOD! So TRUE!

Look guys, why are you being such cry babies? Is your game that weak? Who the fuck cares if the show was real or fake? Oh, I know what it is . . . you HATE Mystery and just HAVE to find something wrong with what he did.

You know . . . that time you took to research what he did . . . you COULD have been out working on YOUR game.

PLUS . . . . DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ? If so, I feel sorry for you.

One other comment . . . JUST because someone is starting a career in acting or as a model, doesn't mean they can actually get any women, lol.

Ok, if you REALLY want to believe everything you read . . . check this out:

This will be the one and only time that I will be addressing this thought.

Yes, I went to the University of Oregon and recieved a theatre arts degree. I am very proud of my education and never tried to hide it. On the VH1.com it says I was a medical web developer, that was correct. Prior to the show, that was my 9 to 5 job. As far as acting and the show, I was never given lines, stage direction, or blocking. What you see is the real deal. My life was changed forever, and I never thought a reality tv show would have such an impact on anyone's life.

On another note:

I am still the same Joe Doyle from Bothell Wa. I am not a "player." There are three phases to the art of pickup. Attraction, comfort building, and seduction. A player attracts and seduces, leaving comfort out of the mix. A player also takes what he can get.
I have a lot of women in my life now, but beauty is common. It's whats on the inside that seperates the girls from the women.

Just a little rant before I hit the pool.

Cheers

Joe D

Ok...so you didn't say if you took that from somewhere else, so are you claiming to be Joe D? If not, cite your sources so as not to confuse people.
