Hey guys. long time reader, first time poster

So I was introduced to the world of PU a few years back when watching "The Pickup Artist" on VH1 with Mystery a few years back, and it got me interested in the game. Along the way, I learned about the general concepts like approach and opening, negging, etc. Since then, I've always been very interested, but I've never actually gone out and done anything about it.

Fast foward to this summer, and I'm in a completely new city with bars all over the place, not knowing a single person here, and I figure that this is a perfect opportunity to finally put the game to practice and take the huge first step into improving my life.

So my question is, whats the first step into improving my game? Should I just start practicing from the beginning of the routine (ie week 1 approach, week 2 opening, week 3 disqualification, week 4 kino, etc) or should I just learn everything I can and try to use a little bit of everything here and there? Would it be better to learn everything from the forums, or learn from books, only using the forums to tweak my game? Guide me, please!

glad you are joining the community, hopefully it does change your life most guys are never the same after they have been out and about for a few years meeting girls and having good times

first off i suggest you understand the basics. i mean simply how everything works. reading the mystery method or watching it or wutever you find is the best way. to me he is the begining of game, he is the founder of what everyone basis there thoughts and gaming on. so when you know the basics and you can break it down it can be the most helpful thing when you start

mystery method in my opinion is a little garbage (i know what your thinking, why would i call it that if my name is mR.e based of off myster il get there in a bit) its garbage because it is overly structured. there is no room to be yourself, no space in it to just do something crazy that you wouldnt normally do. after you have really got how the basics work you can apply a more natural game into it, which is what i have done over the past 2 years. mystery method was hard in my envoriment as well as a little overly cocky for me to do constatly, it wasnt me. if you wanna find out some really good natural stuff and other method check out http://www.the21convention.com/

this site has free stuff on it, through videos of some of the worlds best and soon to be best puas. it will come as very helpful to you, and possibly the most useful site but i still suggest understanding the structure of game first, applying some of it to get the hang of it, then look into the more advanced and natural game stuff

I'm also looking where to start from. I'm in high school so It is really difficult to go with a direct approach where I have a four minute time frame in between classes are having to a approach a set most likely which scares the crap outta me becuase I dont know what to talk about to have an interesting conversation.
