It's by far my biggest flaw. However, I am thinking it's something about the dancing not the dancing itself. Some underlying factor about dancing. I am just scared to get out on a dance floor. It terrifies me. It doesnt matter what type of dancing, or what type of music. I am afraid of that dance floor. This is obviously hindering my ability to attract woman as most love dancing. Im worried that this will hurt me with the current girl of interest as I no doubt willl have to dance with her at some point.

-Im willing to bet some of you had this trouble here. How did you overcome it?

i would say practice is. in your house alone just practice some type of moves to just get used to just leting go a little and feeling the music (no homo)

it sounds weird but girls like a guy who can dance and not care. my friend dances like an idiot on purpose, because he cant actually dance good and it looks funny but he is so open and fun to girls they love it. thats one approach, the other is just like i said practice and home and make yourself get lost in the music, then think of the same thing out on the dance floor dont think to much just feel the music and move. next thing you know you grab a girl and you use that energy to move her to the music, pushing, pulling, grabbing her close, moving her waist with her belt loops, there is so much you can do

I know since I'm new my opinion doesn't mean that much but...
Just get out there and stop over analyzing it man - I'm new to all this but trust me, girls love a guy who dances, even if he is pretty horrible at it. Just go onto youtube and watch some dancing tutorials, there's a lot of good to be learned from them.

I second what mR.e said too about dancing like an idiot. When I feel out of place and people are dancing I often times just start doing ridiculous things and get a lot of attention. Some of that attention is "WTF are you doing" and some of it is "haha he's funny I'm gonna dance with him", so it all works out in the end. Proof - I know there's a video somewhere on youtube of some guy named Athene doing a character dance from World of Warcraft at some club and getting some hot girls around him... its one of the stupidest dance moves ever yet it works amazingly for him - and the video's pretty funny too. If you want to watch it and can't find it I'll dig it up.

But really, its all about just getting up and doing it - fortunately mistakes on the dance floor wind up being much less costly then mistakes @ other places.
