Here is a quick breakdown. I'm a noob when it comes to pick up. I accidently end up hooking up with 7s-9s, almost always alcohol influenced. Anyway, tired of being an AFC, and I'm ready to take charge.

There is this HB8 at work, who I suspect doesn't know how hot she is. She works downstairs in a different department and has been housed in Cali for the past 6 months. Well she is back. Here is the situation. I used to rarely run into her out in the hall...she would walk by with her head down, and I would usually smile and say hi, ask how she was doing. She would smile back, and respond. 6 months ago, my "buddy" decides to tell her co-worker that she has an admirer...I certainly did not ask him do this. Co-worker said she blushed and said she would e-mail me. She never did. Well now that she is back, I am wondering how to approach the situation. Like I said, I rarely run into her in the hall, or maybe the parking lot. Any thoughts on approach? Thanks.

ask her about cali and how it was over there. it will turn into a great conversation

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely bring that up, having lived in Southern Cali before, it should make for good conversation and maybe a little comfort. The problem is that I've never introduced myself to her before, so it might seem kinda of awkward if I just ask about Cali...stalker-ish maybe.

Just be like "Hey my name is ___. You used to work here right?" Then she will probably say "Yeah, but then i moved to cali for a while."
You say "Oh nice, how was it there? What did you do? ETC"
Maybe throw in a few negs. "You don't look like a cali girl!" Or "They let you work HERE??"
