I need an opinion on something , That may increase my own personal game.

Im doing awesome in game so far and have a huge social circle

However i often get referd to as "weird" or "quirky" And i dont know if they mean it in a good way like a backhanded compliment or a bad way . It never follows a negative thing e.g. your so weird get away from me . Its usually someone giggles and states that they think im weird. Ive never been disowned because of it and i usually respond to it as " Its better than being normal predictable and boring like most people "


I mean i think I get called weird\quirky because of my bizzare conversations

e.g. " i would shag the queen because it would be legendary"

or

"imagine how lame you must have to be musically to write music and get it played in elevators or starbucks"

and what usually follows that sort of conversation is " your so weird"

Ive never really known whether its a good thing or a bad thing to be labeld as "weird"

I get that all the time, mostly in superlative forms. ("you are the weirdest/oddest person I've seen.) They say so when they can't find anything clever to say in response. It could be a synonym for original, unexpected, interesting, etc. I know that it's a good thing, because most of the times it's followed by something like "I love this guy," or "why haven't I met you before."

But sometimes, and you'll know when, you say something so stupid, so pointless, so trivial, that they find it really weird. The lines that you mentioned are not of this kind.

Well I would hesitate to say it is a bad thing to be weird. I think the question to ask is are you getting laid? If the answer is no then it might be a bad thing. But some chicks might find it interesting and really find you attractive. Anyway if you aren't getting the success you want with women you may want to rethink the way you act around them.

Stop caring so much about what they think.

If you are weird/quirky, awesome, so am I. Just go ahead and be who you are, no apologies, and people love and respect you for that.

i think wierd is bad.. but if they call you "hey dork!" or "hey nerd", that isnt soo bad.

I think weird is awesome!!

My boyfriend is the weirdest person I have ever met and somehow when he's around other people, his weirdness spreads to them and they become weird as well. His weirdness spreads to me and sometimes I find myself being weird around people who aren't usually weird and they think I'm hilariously weird. It's like a vicious cycle of weirdness which people seem to love.

If my boyfriend wasn't weird, I wouldn't be with him.

Be yourself, as long as you don't take the weirdness too far. You have a good weirdness level by the way.

From my experience, I've probably gone too far from my weirdness and I think it's hurting me so I've toned it down a bit. Being normal is boring haha, but just don't take the weirdness to a level of obnoxiousness like I probably have.

Guys, it's good to be original. I know this guy who likes starting conversations like this: 'do you like doing your homework?' or 'maths right? yeah that's the shit...'. The key word here is 'randomness'. Random is awesome. This guy makes girls laugh in no time, because it's so obvious that he's just messing around, nothing serious.

Now there's another dude, he is the WEIRDEST dude I've ever met, funny as hell, but weird... The point is that because he takes it too far, girls think he really IS weird, whereas the other dude is PRETENDING.

Don't be weird for the sake of being weird, be weird for the sake of humor, messing with people and breaking the ice. Hope this helps.

People who use the term 'weird' are imo boring people to begin with.

Open minded, interesting and creative people dont generally use the term weird.

and those topics of conversation arent really weird at all.

funny i remember this thread and last night on the phone with a girl, she called me weird. "Your weird". but in a laughing way. I started beatboxing to kill off the silence on the phone and make it sound like im doing something and she was like "your wierd making these sounds boom bat boom boom bat" etc.. and then later on the phone she started doing it and i called her out on it "ohh now look whos doing it!" . I didnt take it seriously. But now i see its not soo bad.

Weird > Boring.
