Hello there,

My name is Stan. I'm from LA and I'm 21 years old. My adventure with "the game" began with a couple of videos of then-odd Mystery talking about things with such enthusiasm that I knew that very moment my life is about to take a 90 degree turn. It took five years to get to where I am today.

Like many shy, insecure teenagers, I saw "the game" as a means to an end, a girl I had in mind at certain points in my life. Experience changed me; today I see "the game" as an end in itself. Those I've come to know through years have failed to appreciate the beauty of "the game." They see it as a pseudoscience created by Mystery, Style and the rest of the pioneers for the weak, the insecure; in order to give them drugs in form of false hope and security.

But it is a game not unlike any other worthy of playing. What Petrosian once said about Chess, I want to say about "the game": it is a Game by its form, an Art by its content, and a Science by the difficulty of gaining mastery in it.

My goal here is to socialize, to take from those who know and to give to those who ask. I'm here because I believe we share a deep love of "the game" and through that love, a recognition of life as an exciting adventure, a game of incomparable grandeur, complexity, and beauty.
