I got a girls number awhile ago, and we've been texting on and off. Recently she became very interested in me, while i began learning the techniques of Pick up, from Magic Bullets, among other literature I read.

Anyways, we had plans to meet up on a friday, but she insisted we meet on a Monday. I had no way of being able to do it, so I told her that I was going out with a few classmates. Particularly what I said was, " I can't monday, I'm going out to a club with a few girls in my class, they're going to try and teach me some dances..".

I PROBABLY should have asked her to come. But I didnt. I was too stupid.
She also asked me how many girls' numbers I got that night (the same night I got hers.)

I texted her on Sunday, but she didn't respond.. I'm starting to feel that I pushed this girl too far, and she feels that I'm just a player. Which I'm clearly. not. I do actually like her, and we did get along pretty well... should I call her up?

What should I do?
I'm talking with other girls at the moment, but I really feel this is recoverable.

Well from what I can tell you can best chill right now, you texted her sunday and if she didn't respond and you call her, it looks a bit too desperate. You don't wanna have that. If you just let it sit for a bit, she'll eventually respond to your text message.

..Unless you somehow screwed up by saying you got 10 phone numbers that night, or whatever else you may have told her.

I only said, Happy Father's Day.
But usually, before the conversation we had about meeting up on Friday/Monday, she would constantly try to win my approval..

if you think you're giving off too much of a player vibe, Sinn recommends just casually mentioning your ex-fiance early on at some point during the conversation. That should do it.

as far as responding to shit tests like "how many other girls' numbers did you get?", obviously you can't address that seriously. just be like "OMG, thousands"

regarding what you should do here, well, that's the one huge advantage of dating multiple girls. you don't have to freak out when you don't hear from one of them. just wait for her to come back to you. if she doesn't, well, you can call/text her in a week or so.

Next time don't lie. This line came off try-hard, like you were trying to impress her. Call her and tell her to hang out. Worst case, you can try reframing with "why are you jealous of my friends who were teaching me dancing?"

Well first it was just you. Then I was on a roll so I figured I'd get the bartender's number. Before I knew it, I was getting the number of the old lady at the bar, a random guy in the bathroom stall next to me and even this one cougar who was giving me the evil eye; I was a machine, let me tell ya. Ya gotta say it with a Chevy Chase/Bill Murray demeanor...works great.
